Organizational Profile
Overview: Volleyball is part of an educational experience that helps a person reach her full potential. Volleyball is a tool that is used to teach discipline, hard work, leadership, team orientation, and loyalty. Athletes make sacrifices to play the game of volleyball. Student-athletes involved in my program will put forth as much effort in the classroom as on the court. Education is the primary goal for all my athletes. A student-athlete can achieve this goal by attending class and putting forth their best effort. To be a strong athlete the athlete needs to be intelligent. Volleyball, as many sports, is a mental game and an educated athlete can gain that edge over their opponents. You must have the ability to out think and out play the other team.
Mission: I expect that after their years with me, they will receive a degree. I expect that when I am done with the athlete they are a better person then before I got them. I want to produce athletes that will succeed in life as they did playing volleyball. The lessons learned in volleyball are lessons that you can take with you in life. These girls are more than athletes, they are my family. I will be there for family not only on the volleyball court but in life.
